It is not a dangerous memory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of COM and EXE files that are executed or closed. It does not infect the files: SC*, TB*, F-*, TO*, FI*, MS*, VI* (SCAN, TBAV, F-PROT e.t.c.). Depending on the system timer this virus overwrites the C:\DOS\DOSKEY.COM file with a copy of "Pottie" parasitic virus.
The virus contains the text string:
